Paragon Adrift

Note, this is specifically a list of famous people. Some are jackasses (Jeff Atwood), some don’t contribute to programming itself (arguably, Linus Torvolds, though Git has influenced my development, but definitely John D. Carmack), and some actually did change programming (Dijkstra, for one). They had Java’s, Perl’s, C’s, C++’s, PHP’s, Python’s, and even Visual Basic’s developers, but not Ruby’s or Smalltalk’s or Erlang’s et al. The list is far from interesting, really… very little real information. I’m just pissed I read all of it so I figured I’d spend my time better by bitching about it.
